The Venus Pendant

Venus is one of the more familiar faces of the Divine feminine. Yet she is extremely complex. Her ancient codes weave narratives of many of the goddesses I work with. She is seen as the goddess of Love. Love is the primal force weaving thru all of materia of this planet; so this may be why She has not been lost or dismissed, as many divine faces of the feminine are, for who can dismiss Love as a force of the divine? Yet her roots tie her back as one of the original bridge goddesses, with Lilith and Isis, who existed before the shift to singular masculine cosmology. It appears to me when I dive into mythology; that the goddesses who are shapeshifters and become multiple variations of the feminine; even mortal to stay life alive in the human mythos. Venus‘s story appears again, and again, through the dramas of love and war death and resurrection. It’s the following and deep listening to variations of myths over and over that I begin to see, that clues are delivered to the mortal perception, so that we may become more enchanted are connected to the divine.

My connection to Venus tho, began with astrology and the night sky. She is a transmitter of a light frequency like no other cosmic body. The Venus pentagram, the 5 petaled dance around the Earth reminds us of the mysterious design we are embedded in while here.
