The original New Moon was cast in Bronze. I loved working with the Copper Zinc beings, tied to my ancestral memory codes. Silver was beckoning me to work with Her magic at this scale, and The New Moon Knife was the first large form to be cast in Silver. The light of the Moon is often Silver on leaves, water, snow, so that felt to be a natural design choice. Yet It is the intuitive knowing within, the dreamtime, and mythical reflections that often guide us differently of what is seen outside. The inner reflection is often what guides us through the darkest hours. The New Moon in Silver honors the intuitive navigation sourced in the Unseen. There a phenomenon when you hold this weight of pure solid Silver, it is luxurious and activating .
